The Royal Camp, a Welcomheritage enterprise, captures the luxurious nostalgia of a bygone age of the Maharaja's safari and shikar camps. The luxury tents combine innovative designs that demonstrate many skills and crafts of Marwar. The Camp consists of 100 custom made tents each with verandah, bedroom and bathroom. All amenities and fittings have been created for maximum comfort. There is a large dining tent serving the best of Rajasthani cuisine and a large open reception tent with seating areas. The Campfire is the focal point for the evening entertainment programme and rhythms of the Thar-music, dancing, magic shows, puppet shows, jugglers, flaming torches and camel parades.  

The experience of such fine camp living could be enjoyed at Pushkar Camel and Cattle Fair, Jaisalmer Desert Fair and a permanent camp at Nagaur Fort from October to March consisting of 20 tents. 20 luxury tents, attached bath with water closets.

Custom-made camps can also be especially arranged for exclusive groups in any of the exotic locations of your choice - old forts, desert sands, mountains, lakes or jungle - provided a minimum of two nights and 15 tents.
