The Royal Camp takes place during the famous Pushkar Festival in Pushkar. The camp is located in a large private site overlooking the Mela ground and flanked by open fields and hills. The Royal Camp belongs to the Welcome heritage group. The Mela ground is located within easy walking distance from the camp. The Royal Camp captures the luxurious days of a bygone age of the Maharaja's safari and shikaar camps. The Shikaar style Camp consists of a large Mughal-style reception tent, a recreation tent and kitchen and store tents.

Royal Camp is located about 16 kms. away from the Ajmer railway station and 145 kms. away from the Jaipur airport.

Rooms:
The accommodation in the Royal Camp consists of 100 luxury tents. These tents combine innovative designs that demonstrate many skills and crafts of Marwar. Each tent has a verandah, bedroom, fan, hot air blower and attached bathroom with water closets and hot and cold running water supply. All amenities and fittings have been created for maximum comfort.

The Campfire is the focal point for the evening entertainment programmes of music, dance, magic shows, puppet shows, jugglers, flaming torches and camel parades.
